If you haven't heard yet, we're excited to let you know that we are now offering monthly KTA memberships!
Purchase Membership
The KTA mission is to provide recreation and education opportunities by managing, maintaining, and building trails to foster the health of our community, surrounding environment, and regional economy. We are able to do so with the support of our annual and monthly members.
The change from day memberships to monthly memberships this year was a conscientious decision by KTA for many reasons. A one month membership encourages multi-day trail use while easing congestion at the Welcome Center and in the village of East Burke. By eliminating the daily ticket and wicket system, we will increase efficiencies, streamline service, reduce waste and take better care of Mother Earth.
Monthly membership is also a great deal! As an adult, for the same price as previously purchasing 2 day memberships plus $5, a $35 monthly membership now gives you access to the trail system for 30 days! In addition, if you decide to use the trail system again after that month, you have the option to redeemed your month membership and upgrade to an annual membership, giving you year round trail access!
We love to see kids and families out there, therefore the youth monthly membership prices are extremely affordable and even free for kids 7 and under! Additionally, we want to remind Northeast Kingdom residents that with an NEK residential billing address, your monthly or annual membership is available at a discount.
Month Membership Rates
- Monthly Individual Adult (age 16+) - $35
- Monthly Individual Youth (ages 8-15) - $15
- Monthly Family (relatives currently living in the same household) - $65
NEK Resident Month Membership Rate
- Monthly NEK Resident Adult (age 16+) - $25
- Monthly NEK Resident Youth (ages 8-15) - $10
- Monthly NEK Family (relatives currently living in the same household) - $50
All Adults Over 70 years old: FREE
KTA seeks to keep our membership rates affordable and accessible for all!
Please purchase your memberships online and in advance as our Welcome Center remains closed. Simply have a copy of your confirmation receipt available when you visit KTA, as our ambassadors will ask to see it in order to check the date of purchase before you enter the network. Month memberships are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Canadian Community Month Offers Below Kingdom Trails Kingdom Trails is a world-renowned, community-supported trail network at the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, built through long-standing landowner partnerships and careful stewardship. It remains the central hub of the region’s mountain biking community. As part of Canadian Community Month, Canadian visitors are welcomed with special membership access and benefits designed to make visiting more accessible. Offers: Canadian dollars accepted at par for annual and day memberships purchased in-person at the Kingdom Trails Welcome Center New and current Canadian annual members will receive a complimentary guest day membership to share with a friend or family member, redeemable anytime during the 2026 riding season. Canadians who purchased day memberships earlier this season may upgrade to annual memberships at par, with the amount already paid in USD credited toward the upgrade Please note that the at-par rates will be applied at checkout in USD as a discount according to the current daily exchange rate; the KT Welcome Center is unable to accept Canadian currency at this time.
