Kingdom Trails IPA Available at NEK Locations!

June 30, 2020
The Kingdom Trails IPA is on the shelves!

It all began last year with an invitation to the Wizard's Workshop- Sean Lawson's small batch brew spot.  An early spring day found the KTA staff and a few friends from Mike's Tiki Bar (we figured they knew about beer :) learning from Lawson's Finest Liquids' Brew Master himself!  Sean laid out the hops and skillfully (patiently) advised us as we crushed and sniffed and discussed- searching for the perfect recipe to conjure long days in the saddle and cold brews in the river, with the right ABV- not too much and not too little... 6.2%.  With Sean's guidance, it turned out amazing!  Pale yellow in color, soft and refreshing on the palate with a mild bitterness and an intensely fruit forward and floral nose, we think it's the perfect apres IPA!

The beer turned out so well that Lawson's decided to brew it again!  We are incredibly grateful to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this year's Kingdom Trails IPA will support the conservation of land on Darling Ridge in partnership with the Vermont Land Trust. Please consider donating

Vermont State Treasurer, Mike Pieciak, speaks at the 2025 Outdoor Recreation Day at the Statehouse
By Abby Long February 13, 2025
KT is taking action—on the trails and in the Statehouse! This 2025 Legislative Session, KT is teaming up with other amazing trail organizations through the Vermont Trails & Greenway Council, to advocate for H.147 a bill to establish the Recreational Trails Compensation Study. Why does this matter? Vermont’s outdoor recreation economy generates $2.1B annually, nearly 5% of the state’s GDP, that's 2nd in the nation after Hawaii (Go VT!) KT alone drives $10M in economic impact annually. Therefore, the state must recognize and incentivize these generous private landowners, including the 106 who make KT possible and allow public access to trails.
