EDUCATION & SUMMER CAMPS

Burke Mountain Bike Camps

Looking for an exciting outdoor adventure opportunity for your children this summer? Whether it’s learning to mountain bike, or simply improving downhill skills, we have some great options with our Mountain Bike Adventure Camps.

Burke Mountain and NorthWoods Stewardship Center team up to lead these two summer adventure camps, combining the best of Burke’s mountain biking with NorthWoods’ camp experience.

Kingdom Camps

Kingdom MTB Camps are fun, skill-oriented mountain bike day and overnight camps for boys and girls who want to improve and have fun. We have a variety of programs spanning from beginner to expert, ages 6-17.

KT Kids Ride

This is a guided ride on the Kingdom Trails network for kids from ages 7-11. Your child must arrive equipped with a safely functioning bike that has at least 6 gear options, and hand brakes. As well as proper attire, a bike helmet, water and nutrition that they can carry themselves.

Parents are welcome to join the fun, but it is not necessary, unless your child needs one on one attention or there is a question as to whether they may be able to stay with the group.

Participation is free for Kingdom Trails members and $5 for non- KT members.

The East Burke Market offers a wide variety of products and services to meet your everyday needs! From fresh produce and Certified Angus Beef to a large selection of craft beer, we pride ourselves on quality. Start your day with our fresh breakfast sandwiches and a cup of Green Mountain Coffee, or visit our deli for delicious prepared foods. We also provide a full range of groceries, a weekly sales flyer with great deals, and convenient services like an ATM and non-ethanol gas. Stop by for all your essentials in one place! We’re open daily from 5:30am to 8:30 pm and until 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Our gas pumps are open for “pay at the pump” 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Handlebar Biergarten

Handlebar Biergarten is a relaxed outdoor venue serving local and VT beers as well as other drinks and light snacks. Located next to the biking parking lot at the top of East Darling Hill Road and on the grounds of the Inn at Mountain View Farm, the Biergarten enjoys beautiful views of Burke Mountain and this historic dairy farm. Come rack your bike and have a seat at our custom-made farm tables under the tent, play some Cornhole or try your hand at Hammerschlagen. Enjoy beers from Hill Farmstead, Zero Gravity, Fiddlehead, von Trapp, Schilling and others! Handlebar is also available for rent for special occasions.

Off Piste Farm

We are a small, family run farm specializing in licensed sungrown cannabis cultivation. We also raise pigs, chickens, veggies, and maple syrup. In 2021 we began offering private campsite rentals and look forward to hosting more friendly and interesting travelers in 2023.

The Orange Rind

Offering great food, drinks, and vibes to the East Burke community. The Orange Rind offers a variety of food options as well as vegan options and live music. We have a full liquor gazebo bar on the river with lots of outdoor seating and fun games for everyones enjoyment!

The View Pub

Located on the second floor of the Burke Mountain Hotel the View Pub offers indoor and outdoor dining. Oversized windows provide striking views of the Willoughby Gap and mountain vistas where you quickly feel we've let the outside, in. Stepped-up sanitation and cleaning procedures allow you to enjoy a worry-free and relaxed dining experience from our pub staff.

The Inn at Burklyn offers upscale dining to both our guests and the public each Wednesday,Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in our restaurant, complete with a full bar. We also offer seasonal cocktails, local craft beers and our extensive wine list, featuring over 100 curated choices from around the world. During the warmer months, we offer porch hours to enjoy cocktails, appetizers, yard games and live music! Our restaurant is open Wednesday,Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Firefly Farm at Burke Hollow

Firefly Farm at Burke Hollow is a thirty acre family run diversified farm producing vegetables, fruit, maple syrup, and eggs. Our farmstand is open daily 9am to 7pm June through September. Please visit our website for early and late season hours. We also host seasonal farm dinners where local chefs create mouth watering meals with our harvest and community is enjoyed on this NEK hillside farm.
