Resolve to Revolve Updates

December 29, 2019

Location, Bikes, and Passport to Prizes

Resolve to Revolve is right around the corner! If your New Year's Resolutions include more Fatbiking, come to the Resolve to Revolve Fatbike Demo Day on January 1st. This annual event is an awesome way to try Fatbiking for the first time, or figure out what your next bike will be!

The fun starts at 9am on New Year's Day, and we've got a few updates for this year's event:

Location
This year we're excited to announce that demos will be available behind The Orange Rind, right next to East Burke Sports in town. They'll open at noon with food and drinks. There will be music and firepits and general merriment!

Your event ticket will get you 1 free TBD beverage at the afterparty which starts at 4pm.

Bikes
East Burke Sports and The Village Sport Shop (The Hub) will be providing demos.

From East Burke Sports:
TREK Farley 7 --> 2 small, 3 medium, and 2 large

Don't forget the kiddos! 2 Specialized Fatboy 24" and 1 Fatboy 20" will be available.

From The Village Sport Shop:
Salsa Beargrease Carbon SX --> 1 medium and 1 Extra Large

Salsa Mukluk SX Eagle -->1 extra small, 1 small, 1 medium, and 1 large

More info on the slider below.

Passport to Prizes
This year we are encouraging participants to check out some of our awesome local businesses. We will be handing out "passports" to each participant, that will have a list of local stops. If you stop at a business, you'll get a check mark, and if you get 3 check marks, you can hand your passport in at the afterparty and be entered to win prizes!

Stay tuned for Demo loop maps and see you in 2020!

Cheers,
The KT Crew

Vermont State Treasurer, Mike Pieciak, speaks at the 2025 Outdoor Recreation Day at the Statehouse
By Abby Long February 13, 2025
KT is taking action—on the trails and in the Statehouse! This 2025 Legislative Session, KT is teaming up with other amazing trail organizations through the Vermont Trails & Greenway Council, to advocate for H.147 a bill to establish the Recreational Trails Compensation Study. Why does this matter? Vermont’s outdoor recreation economy generates $2.1B annually, nearly 5% of the state’s GDP, that's 2nd in the nation after Hawaii (Go VT!) KT alone drives $10M in economic impact annually. Therefore, the state must recognize and incentivize these generous private landowners, including the 106 who make KT possible and allow public access to trails.
