On October 7th, the Kingdom Trails’ Mini Grant Selection Committee met to determine grant awards for the first ever KTA Mini Grant cycle. In its first year, Kingdom Trails received $47,577.18 in funding requests for the $25,000 dedicated to the program. Kingdom Trails thanks the Mini Grant Selection Committee members for their service; they had to make difficult choices among the expansive pool of applicants.
Kingdom Trails awarded grants for 9 projects. Grant recipients were selected through a competitive application process, scoring projects on such criteria as community need, impact, sustainability, inclusiveness, public support, and a realistic, effective work plan and budget.
