Kingdom MTB Club

Kingdom MTB Club on KTA is available at no cost to all schools within the NEK.

This program is available as an after school option for Caledonia, Essex and Orleans County schools.  The experience includes high quality bikes and knowledgeable guides provided by the Northwoods Stewardship Center.

All biking levels are welcome.

Kingdom Mountain Bike Club at Kingdom Trails
The coaches at Northwoods Stewardship Center will be leading us on mountain bike trips this fall. All biking levels are welcome. We will always plan to ride as scheduled, unless the the weather presents unsafe conditions. Please be sure all students come prepared for the elements (light rain/cold). If we must cancel, a message will be sent to you via your preferred method of contact.
YOU MUST MAKE A RESERVATION IN ADVANCE, with Kirsten Nelson Outdoor Club Coordinator, at the Burke Town School. Reservation details will require: all students MUST be accompanied by a riding chaperone (one chaperone for each level of instruction); a specific procedure is in place for students to utilize the Riding for Focus bikes.
Transportation is NOT provided to and from the trails. Rides begin at 3:30 pm at Village Sport Shop Trailside at 2099 Darling Hill Road. Pick up is at 5:00 pm at the same location.

Burke Mountain and NorthWoods Stewardship Center team up to lead these two summer adventure camps, combining the best of Burke’s mountain biking with NorthWoods’ camp experience.

Kingdom Camps
Kingdom Mountain Bike Camps are fun, skill-oriented mountain bike camps for boys and girls who want to improve and have fun! We have a variety of programs spanning from beginner to expert, ages 6-14. Single track flow trials, pump tracks, and our specially designed skills area provide ideal environments for teaching and learning! Many of our coaches are PMBI certified and we pride ourselves on giving children safe, progressive and challenging riding environments. Our home base is the East Burke School, 250 yards from Mike’s Tiki Bar, with Monday-Friday sessions and 5 weeks of programming June through August. We can also provide a specialized program to suit the dates and needs of your family or small group to help make your NEK experience the ultimate vacation!

Viking Biking Overnight Mountain Bike Camp
Thank you for considering Lyndon Institute’s first of its kind overnight mountain biking camp! These camps feature expert instruction by professionals from Kingdom Cycling & Experiences at Kingdom Trails, some of the best mountain biking trails in the country. 
Kingdom Cycling & Experiences features guides with the following qualifications: 
Professionally certified instructors
Wilderness First Aid or First Responder Certification
All guides go through a rigorous training process to ensure that they deliver the highest level of service
All levels, beginner through expert are welcome.

Campers will stay on campus for the week. Along with expert instruction from Kingdom Cycling & Experiences, this camp will include basic course work in bike maintenance and fun afternoon and evening activities.
What a typical day looks like:
7:30 am Wake Up and Breakfast
8:45 am Arrival at Trailside Office
9:00 am Stretching and Set Up
9:15 pm Instruction/Ride
12:00 pm Lunch and Activity
1:00 pm Additional Activities Such As: Mechanical Sessions, Active Stretching, Nutritional Classes, Swimming, Etc.
4:30 pm Arrive at LI Campus for Dinner and Evening Activities
