Volunteer Work Day Accelerates Re-opening of Trails

Dear Neighbors to the North

July 29, 2020

Blood, Sweat, and Volunteers.

On Saturday, July 25th, a group of about 20 volunteers and staff met on the ridge for a socially distanced volunteer work day led by CJ Scott and Ethan Kascenska.

The sun was shining, the hornets were buzzing (literally, it seems like every work day uncovers a ground nest), and good vibes were abundant.

Thanks to the hard work of these dedicated KT enthusiasts, the following trails are now reconnected, re-opened and ready to be ridden!
  • Heavens Bench
  • Ridge
  • Sugar Hill
  • Easy Out
  • East Branch
  • Rim

Special thanks to Mike Greenblatt and Kate Spellissy, the new landowners who made it all possible. As always, we are so grateful!

You can check out the updated trail map here. Some photos from the day are below.
