On September 14, 1994, the Kingdom Trail Association’s Articles of Incorporation were signed by the originating Board of Directors – Doug Kitchel, Jim O’Rielly, John Worth, Marilyn Pastore, Jake Wheeler, Stan Swaim, Dixi Nohl, Howard Crawford and Bruce Heinrich. Nine thoughtful citizens rolled up their sleeves on that day and created this incredible community asset that has benefited so many. For 25 years now the center of our story has been the people along the way-the landowners, volunteers, board members, staff, businesses, partner organizations and members who have contributed to who we are and what we do today. We’ve all heard the familiar quote “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed it is the only thing that ever has”. This is the legacy of you all, whether you picked up a shovel, volunteered at an event, sat through long board meetings, donated the use land, time or talents or served as an ambassador to the KT community. Thank you all for what you do, it has made all the difference.
Happy Anniversary and Happy Trails,
Kingdom Trails Board of Directors, Chair
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed it is the only thing that ever has”.
