About this event:
Today is the last day that the trails will be open for the summer season. Every year, the Kingdom Trail network closes for the summer season on October 31 in order to maintain the integrity of the system throughout the transitional season. November also marks the start of deer hunting season in Vermont which is a long standing tradition for many of our landowners. Out of respect for the Kingdom Trails landowners and Association, please respect the closing of trails.
The trails will open again for fatbikes, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing as soon as the trail conditions allow during the month of December. For the fatbike trails to open, the ground will need to be fully frozen. And for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing, we’re gonna need snow of course…
During the winter time, we move our Welcome Center to the yurt located at 2129 Darling Hill Rd. Lyndonville, VT. 05851. This makes it so you can ski, fatbike or snowshoe straight from the warm cozy center without traveling on any roads. Visit us there for day passes, memberships, and retail apparel. A Kingdom Trails membership or jersey makes a great Holiday gift!
