The trail network will be closed for the month of November and open again for winter operations as soon as conditions allow.
Opening the network depends on a couple of factors. We will always wait until Deer Hunting Season is over which is Dec. 10th. After that, when the ground is fully frozen, we will open the Fatbiking and Snowshoe trails. And when there is enough snow to groom for classic and skate skiing (more than 6 inches) we will open the Nordic Ski Trails.
Remember that your year round membership gives you access to the trails in the winter time as well. So plan to check out the 25 miles of singletrack that we groom for fatbiking on the East Side of Darling Hill or the the 12 KM of skate and classic groomed xc ski trails. In addition, you can snowshoe anywhere on Darling Hill, except the groomed ski trails.
Please remember also, that we do move our base of operations to the Kingdom Trails Nordic Adventure Center at 2059 Darling Hill Rd. for December-April. So that’s where you would go to purchase a day pass or Holiday gifts.
Check out the Trailhub app on the right side of this page for up to the minute openings, closures and conditions.
